Where Can I Buy These Things?
Specialty scrapbook stores are a great place to buy supplies, take classes and get advice, information and suggestions. Check your local yellow pages or do an online search for stores in your region. Craft stores, like Michaels, Jo-Ann’s, Hobby Lobby and AC Moore also carry scrapbooking supplies and are a good resource.
Online stores and catalogs are two additional resources for supplies—especially nice for those without a store nearby. Try Paper Wishes catalog or www.paperwishes.com for shopping. The best part is, you can shop in your jammies, whenever you have the time!
Home parties, such as Creative Memories or Close to My Heart, feature consultants who provide information and access to cropping parties and classes; the product is limited to what is produced by the company.
You might also want to check out a scrapbooking convention. These are huge gatherings where scrapbookers get together to shop from manufacturers, take classes and crop with other scrapbookers. It’s a terrific way to see the different kinds of products available, meet some fun people and experience scrapbooking. Check out Hot Off The Press’ convention schedule for some upcoming shows. We send a teacher to scrapbooking conventions all over the country.
